The client.
Kocho are experts in identity and cyber security and are a leading cloud transformation and managed services provider.
The brief.
Kocho required a market leading CMS website to promote their new brand after merging two cyber security companies - ThirdSpace and TiG. The website needed to be accessible, performant, secure and optimised for SEO in order to attract visitors and maximise conversion. The CMS needed to be highly flexible to provide full control over content whilst providing users with a seamless front-end experience.
The approach.
Working closely with the client and creative agency Mr B & Friends, Lunar delivered a market leading website which gave Kocho the platform it needed after completing a company merger.
We adopted a component-driven approach, focusing on the front-end build first by adding the building blocks of the website to a bespoke pattern library which gave the client visibility of the build from a very early stage. Atomic Design and BEM drive this phase, where we focus on the smaller more atomic elements first and then move to the more complex elements as the build progresses.
Lunar continued to work with Kocho supporting on post launch phases and providing retainer support, helping the client scale their website to meet business needs.
The result.
Lunar delivered a high quality website build which balances the requirements of both the client and end user.
The Kocho site was built using the Roots.io toolkit which Lunar extended and adapted to the meet the client's needs. We continued to work with Kocho long after the initial website build, further optimising the solution, building new features and providing important server maintenance.
